As a Bulls fan I would do this in a heart beat! I love Hinrich, but Butler solves our problem long term at the two or at least for the next few years. Butler can score, defend, and is unselfish. He's really just a better and taller version of Kirk. The only downside of course, is that Hinrich is the backup PG as well as the starting SG. But I think VDN can find someone to play point for 12 minutes a game. Give Pargo a chance he's dying to get into the game.
Anyway I hope the Bulls do something, and this would be a big something. In this scenario the Bulls still have FA money for the summer, but I wouldn't mind if they then tried to get a guy like David West or some other PF if one comes available at the deadline. A team with Rose, Butler, Deng, PF? and Noah would be pretty tough this year, and really tough in a year or two!
